While I'm not sure I understand the question (or that I'm the appropriate one to answer 
) if you mean you want to add a logo to the silkscreen then you would need to modify the silkscreen layer in the pcb.svg. That gets a little exciting (assuming you can't duplicate and modify something already on the silkscreen) because you need to get it in to the correct group (by default it is created in root) and you need to be able to make or import the graphics for the logo. Good to hear the tutorial is working (even if it is currently incorrect ).
