Oh, now you want a "practical solution"... Why didn't you say that in the first place. 
Well, it should be editable, but it's not... I agree, I think there should be a choice of fonts. That is another improvement that FZ needs... I suppose you could file it on the Wishlist...
Sometimes I will take a .jpg of the PCB, import it into CorelDraw and overlay silkscreen graphics, or I will draw the entire board up in CorelDraw with the silkscreen graphics, save it as an board-shape.svg and import it as a custom board shape. That is the way this was drawn up... I have more control over the silkscreen graphics that way.
