For the part I am creating currently, I could really use gradients. I've tried a test image and I cannot see any of the rasterization issues. Looking at the Qt bugs I see this bug has now been fixed. Are we OK to use gradients now? Which Qt version do we use? Anyone got test cases for where they fail please?
