First time making a PCB. Does this look alright?
Your best bet would be to upload the sketch (the .fzz file) as pictures are pretty much useless in evaluating your circuit. Peter

wrong version. (pardon me.) GALE ECU-JL.fzz (193.5 KB)

Which illustrates my point that pictures are basically useless. The sketch allows running DRC (routing->Design Rules Check (DRC) which flags a bunch of errors: this one does show up in your images...

Huh thought it was just drc freaking out. You think this will affect manufacture?

Also I’m running an old beta version of fritzing and none of these errors popped up ://. Also other than these any other issues like if the traces are at the right pins or if there are any other...

Yes. The first overlap shorts many of the I/O pins on the micro and that will likely be a problem. The too close ones may or may not be an issue and the board house may or may not flag it as an error...

GALE ECU.fzz (183.4 KB) Hope there is nothing else of note…

Still problems. The rectifier ones will probably work fine, but the new part will remove them. there is a hole hidden by the silkscreen layer that is too close there and likely truncating the trace at...

ECU Unit.fzz (183.6 KB) Take your time on looking at it

OK, here is a fixed version that passes DRC. I substituted my corrected rectifier to get that out of the way, but the case is a little too large according to the data sheet. Then I moved some of the...

Thanks for the help :DD you’re a real one. Though the rectifiers and capacitor doesn’t seem to be hooked up in the way I intended. I’ll fix that tho.

They look to be electrically equivalent. Here I right click on a pin and all the pins connected to that net light yellow the path circled in red can be simplified like this (the line circled in green...

Hi Peter, Thank you. This part is perfect for what I need. The pin numbers is the the only thing that must change (Not names). Pin 1 is on Tx. This may only be confusing on PCB layout with the square...

I can reassign the pin numbers in the parts editor with the set graphic button, but don’t know how to change the number text next to the pin in the Schematic view. I also played with that niggly...

I see. Probably just me it probably was the way some traces converged that lead me to believe something was up. It should be working the same way. I changed some stuff around kinda felt like it but...
