my understanding is if you have given fritzing.org , or any company for that matter, consent in the past then that consent is still valid. if you no longer want them to have that consent then you should notify them. a majority of those gdpr emails that companies sent were completely unnecessary. existing customers did not need to receive them.

One more email I didn’t need. Especially when they didn’t really say anything.

I asked it because there are “breakout board” variant for the same module. In this case, the one you posted could be named 3-Axis Compass GY-271 HMC5883L.

By the way, pretty nice one  Can I upload it to fritzing after waiting for @vanepp part checker?

That is so true. Emails flooding inboxes is not good. But, if I understand it correctly, it is meant to be a declaration of compliance. Maybe pinning a post on the forum would do the trick.

I extracted what I thought is necessary to keep the data hounds at bay:

A short explanation about The GDPR
The EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) is a comprehensive data privacy and protection regulation that takes effect on 25 May 2018. Under the GDPR, you have various rights with respect to your personal data, including the rights to know what personal data we maintain and the purposes for which it may be processed, receive a copy of your personal data upon request, and request that your personal data be corrected or destroyed. You can learn more about the GDPR and your rights under the regulation here.

Use of Your Personal Data
Fritzing collects, stores, and processes personal data within and outside the EU for various purposes in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. The personal data that Fritzing processes may include your name, postal and email addresses, phone number, function, jurisdictions. You may withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at ---blabla---@fritzing.org

Please take some time to review our updated privacy policy…

It took awhile. Screenprint and solder mask templates used to generate design layout. The longest part was naming the connector pins/terminals.

SVG image in PDF export is not properly scaled

Seriously, that’s nothing wrong with your Fritzing version nor OS. It’s a common issue has been there and in other applications for many years. I guess it’s just nobody’s still figured out how to do automatic export to PDF clearly. You may consider as more convenient to fix the scaling with the code, but I do so through the editor, this one exactly https://4000a-125-2-form.pdffiller.com/ it is made for editing and filling some forms specifically, but toolset is pretty huge so it works out well for fzz as well

Fritzing.0.9.3b.64.pc just hangs on Windows 10

Yes, but I only installed Git as a workaround to fix the hang in the first place, and I put it in one of the locations that I saw Fritzing was trying to find it at.

Git is not required to operate Fritzing, but Fritzing looks for it in the wrong way.

Fritzing should look for Git in a proper way, not by looking round my entire filesystem repeatedly each and every time it opens a file. There must be a proper way to detect Git (not sure, maybe by a registry entry). And if not found, don’t try to go searching the file system for it.

It is clearly a bug.

Hope that it can be fixed in the next release.

Yeah, I know that feeling after doing a whole arduino mega shield, took me like 3 days to assign each pin/connector inside breadboard/schematic/pcb views.

Also, do you know how to push those parts into Github Fritzin-Parts repository?

Do you have other Cypress board to be accomplished?

Hello! i´m a Radio Amateur (Ham Radio) and i´ve created a part for a bifilar toroidal core.

This is used very often on Ham Radio projects.

Hope it will be useful!

Looks good after comparing with one image of that at the link provided, but there is a little issue related to grid alignment: the pin connector aren’t on the 0.1 in grid, the middle one is slighty rotated instead of making a straight line.

Can any one make this part for me?

I have giving it a try but I can not get it right. Thanks

Thanks KIng!

Can you modify it, and then send to me the file, so i can compare it with mine on Fritzing?

Is important to me if you can do it, i want to learn!

You can use an existing part which is similar to the one you requested by looking at the sparkfun library parts inside fritzing.
