Steps I took that resulted in the problem:
Placed text labels in a schematic view.
Exported the view as an SVG file.
Labels not included in resulting SVG file.
...
What I expected should have happened instead:
The text labels should have been included in the SVG.
...
My version of Fritzing and my operating system:
Version 0.9.3, Ubuntu 14.04
...
