Wow, thanks!! It works :grinning:

What do you think the hole size should be for the connectors?

Hi. I’ve been searching for a part for the Songle SLA-05VDC-SL-C 30A relay. This is a pretty common relay found on Amazon. I have seen the part on a PDF from someone else’s Fritzing schematic, but I cannot find the part for download. Does anyone have this?

Hello, I have windows 10 and I experienced the same issue. It appeared after I moved my fzz file from desktop to another folder, so I moved this file back to desktop and I was able to open it again.
I wish you a good luck.

Your best bet there is read the data sheet for the connector and select something either the same size or one size bigger than the diameter of the pin in the data sheet.

I think I did a Songle, or help edit one. Look in parts submit here, or link a datasheet.

A google search for fritzing part Songle SLA-05VDC-SL-C turns up several parts on github as well at this forum post which points to one of the github parts:

I did end up using that one instead. Looks just like mine. Thank you.

I remember one Songle part’s drawing wasn’t very good, so I fixed it. It might be the same, or it might be a different Songle.

Probably you have put an incorrect file name since I see you called it "console test.xml. Also, notice the first line of the script:

brd2svg -w "C:\Users\Admin\console\eagle2fritzing\brd2svg\new board\boards

You have to avoid any whitespace in the path in order to make it work. Windows has some issues with the whitespace :stuck_out_tongue: I don’t remember how to do it with whitespaces (escaping with ‘/’ maybe?).

I will look at this topic for your response. Cheers!

Ummm been busy with my new job and haven’t checked these forums in a while but this Arduino Board can be done if someone provides a good image or some Eagle Schematic to try it with Eagle2Fritzing

whitespace escape for windows is usually ’ as in ‘file with white space’ or “file with white space”. Good catch.

Learning Arduino Tutorials

I’ve enjoyed working through the Learning Arduino tutorials, and I’ve learned quite a lot. But I have to say, Episode #1 is TERRIBLE.

For starters, voltage is not a “speed” – it’s a FORCE, as in Electromotive Force (EMF). Second, Stephan shows streams of electrons of various strengths (currents) but never says WHY one stream is flowing faster than another.

The difference, of course, is RESISTANCE, something he never mentions in the video.

A much better analogy is the one about water flowing through a pipe. Voltage is analogous to pressure, current to flow rate. Resistance is determined by the diameter of the pipe (or perhaps a restriction, like a valve that can be adjusted.

Please consider re-doing this one video. The others are all so good, it’s a shame #1 is so bad.

hello, i have a question about this esp8266 part, how do i download the esp8266 board for development because at the board selection button i can only see arduino and picaxe board options, but i want to use the espboard because it is the central microcontroller.

or is there another way to run my codes with the arduino board module when it is not the central microcontroller am using ?

Unfortunately code download only works for the picaxe, the arduino is not working. So you would need to download your code to the esp8266 via an external IDE either one for the esp8266 or the Arduino IDE if it supports the esp8266.

Hi I’m new to Arduino, I bought a slate training kit and nextion 2.4 inch HMI 4MB. I am looking at a few examples of the projects that I couldn’t connect with the RX TX with the screen Arduino, looking at them, I liked the nextion screen, I am looking for a friend who can give me a sample project with Arundino UNO and nextion 2.4. LED lamp with a button on the screen, running Arduino LED lamp, LED lamp on the screen when the nextion can not see the information that worked

Tried to edit IC, now cannot delete it from bin! HELP!

Thanks Peter,
I removed 0.92 and many problems along with it .
I can now actually edit existing parts instead of getting an error message.
_When I open my project I no longer get the error message about missing parts, fpz files and so on.

I will now open a new thread message on a strange phenomena on the font sizes loading in incorrectly from inkspace svg I have saved. They come out as huge size in Fritzing’s schematic view, I deleted the original ones and even my newly created fonts were huge.
