If the part doesn’t have provision to change the hole size in Inspector - most don’t -, so it’s either manually change the holes in the part svg and re-import that svg in a new part, or place a resized header pin or hole on each pad and remove the part.

I guess it stops children plugging their board in the wrong way on a shield. I think Arduino open source, so you can get the plans and get them made with pins where ever you want.
Help! My optocoupler circuit hates my Capacitor!
I don’t have a clue, but maybe look at the datasheet for the 6N137 for a recommended circuit and copy that to your design. Also there is no value for C1, in fact you used a 2 pin header.

Hi all,
I am using this part in my PCB design and have the problem that the Design Rules Check is giving some errors on this part.
Would somebody be able to update this part to have the connectors on both sides and remove the pin names from the copper layer (or move them to the silk layer).

I don’t see text in the copper layer in PCB, but I do see a wrong name for copper0.
Advice Needed on Cylinder Head Temp Circuit
If possible could someone take a look at this circuit and let me know if it’s too crazy or something’s setup wrong. I’m building a “simple” Cylinder Head Temp gauge for an Air Cooled VW (hope to include Oil Pressure, Oil Temp, and Battery Monitor to it eventually) so the peltier elements are actually going to be K-Type Thermocouples (couldn’t locate a fritzing file) Also this is my first venture into Fritzing so please be gentle

Tactile Switch Sparkfun 5x12.5mm
Hi team, really enjoying using Fritzing.
Struggling to create what I hope is a basic part for this tactile switch. https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10302 (specs are here: http://www.sparkfun.com/datasheets/Components/Buttons/TSA12110%20TACT%20SWITCH.jpg)
Unfortunately the user contrib section only has the smaller sparkfun switch.
Any help in creating this part would be appreciated.
Best,
Narath

I can’t duplicate that text problem - maybe if I had the sketch -,but I fixed the pads.

Can you just upload the fzpz part with the 7th button above, because that text doesn’t seem to link.
Advice Needed on Temp Circuit
4 years and I didn’t know you could band the wires
EDIT
I don’t know if you know, but there is an Arduino EFI called Speeduino that can probably do all that and datalog it - I think it can display on Android. The early ones were in Fritzing, but you have to know how to read SCH.
There is also a STM32 based called RusEFI, that can do 4 temps, but it’s in KiCAD.

Just Reuploaded hope it works now! Thanks for lmk!
Advice Needed on Temp Circuit
I know they exist but i’m just curious to see if I can build my own version.
Picobuck for Fritzing
I don’t really know what I’m supposed to do with that because there is nothing to click on.
Did you use the 6th button for code, or the 7th to upload the part.
Maybe download the part from where ever you got it, and use the 7th button to upload the actual fzpz.

Thanks for updating the part. It seems to have resolved both of the issues.
Advice Needed on Temp Circuit
I mainly mention them so you can look up the circuits they use and copy them.
I don’t know if it will work, so bench stimulation is what I would try, but I can’t say I’ve ever heard of a peltier being used for a thermocouple - I have no elec experience -. As far as I know it’s for heating and cooling, and not very good at that. Most auto is a thermocouple in a voltage divider setup.
Tactile Switch Sparkfun 5x12.5mm
Hello and welcome to the forum!
It appears that switch is include with fritzing, or at least I have it on my system. I found it by searching for ‘tactile’ in the part’s search box. I browsed thru the results, looking at the data in the inspector panel. The switch’s name is ‘SWITCH-MOMENTARY-2’ and in the inspector panel it lists it as family - ‘sparkfun push button’. The variant is - ‘12mm’, and the package is - ‘tactile-pth-12mm’.
In the breadboard view, it appears as a switch mounted on a breakout board that lines up with breadboard’s connections. The PCB footprint matches that of the data you posted.
If you can’t find the part, let me know, and I’ll export it and post it for you.
Hope this helps,
Randy
